Our Story
Built on Craft, Driven by Pride
Ross-Read Carpentry & Building was founded in 2013 by Mason Ross-Read, a master carpenter with over two decades of hands-on experience in residential and commercial construction. What started as a sole-trader carpentry business has grown into a trusted full-service carpentry and building contractor, serving clients across Poole, Bournemouth, and the wider Dorset area.
The business was built on a simple principle: do the work properly, treat clients with respect, and let the quality speak for itself. That approach has earned us a loyal client base, a steady stream of referrals, and a portfolio of over 500 completed projects — from bespoke fitted wardrobes and oak staircases to full house extensions and commercial office fit-outs.
We are based in Poole and cover the whole of Dorset, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ferndown, and parts of Hampshire. For the right commercial project, we travel further afield — our work has taken us across the South of England and beyond.
